What is
a VeX model?
A VeX, or Virtual Extraction Model, is a multilayered digital representation of the patient's anatomy after virtual tooth removal.
It combines the existing gingival surface with the original root anatomy, creating a biological reference for restorative design, component selection, and implant positioning — before surgery begins.

Upload the patient's jaw scan and the corresponding segmented tooth anatomy — STL or PLY, in any orientation.
Generate the VeX model
The software aligns the scans, identifies the gingival margin, removes the crowns virtually, and combines the gingival surface with the roots.

Download the VeX model and add it to your implant-planning software or SmileCloud as an anatomical reference.
The restoration should not be adapted to implants that have already been placed.
